Greeting. When you arrive, you will be welcomed by one or more Greeters who will give you a program with the Order of Service and a name tag.

Prelude.Pre-service begins at 10:45 AM with musical selections by one of our Music Directors. We are also often graced with the talents of visiting professional musicians. There are two additional opportunities for latecomers to be seated during and after the Prelude.

Welcome - delivered by one of the members of the Board.

Invocation - usually a hymn from the hymnbook.

Call to Community - brief message or reading by the minister from the pulpit.

Personal Milestones and Introductions. If you are a visiting, this is your opportunity to introduce youself and be made welcome.

"Singing Down"of the children as they leave for their Religious Education. First-time visitors are welcome to accompany their children to the classrooms. On the first Sunday of each month, the Religious Education program begins immediately at 10:45 am with either on field trips the children's own Worship Service in the RE classroom area. The children, and often several parents, are not present for the upstairs service See the Children's Program section for further details.

Sharing of Responsibility (collection) accompanied by another musical selection.

Sermon. delivered either by the Minister or another Officiant. The congregation is often directly involved in the sermon with special music, singing, responsive reading, expression of our personal experiences, and other interactive activities. Sometimes the pews are even rearranged in a circle. There are often special ceremonies at this time.

Postlude. Announcements. A line is formed and community or church announcements are made from a standup microphone.

Following the service, which is scheduled to end shortly after noon, a Coffee Hour is held in the Parish Hall. Members take turns providing Hospitality.

There are often meetings or Forums after the Coffee Hour.

The Worship Associates meet monthly and determine the topics and speakers of the Sunday Serives. If you have an idea for a topic or speaker, please contact one of the Worship Associates or Rev. Karlson. Current Worship Associates are: Kathy Santo, Jill Hueckel, Linda Santlofer and Christine Johnson.
